Arriving on Time

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month (DDAM) and Earth Data readily supports the initiative begun by the National Safety Council to reduce the number of motor vehicle fatalities.

Over 40,000 people were killed in motor vehicle accidents in 2018. 94% of crashes are caused by driver error. Evolving technology, including mobile phones, dashboard infotainment systems, and even innovative voice command features can all act as a distraction. And those distractions often lead to the errors that cause crashes. Being distracted for just one second can end your life or the lives of others.

It’s what we do. We encourage you to not take risks when you are driving. Make it part of who you are and what you do. Just drive. You are worth it.
