Earth Data Incorporated provides fully-equipped vehicles to conduct TV and geophysical surveys in wells, boreholes and mine openings throughout the Eastern United States. Customers include drillers, water companies, consulting firms, hydrogeologists, regulatory and research agencies, municipalities and industries.

Borehole color TV surveys provide an excellent means to determine the exact depth and condition of water bearing openings in consolidated rock aquifers. Color surveys also provide an excellent tool for examining the condition of well casing and screens after construction and before and after well redevelopment work. The 90-degree rotating lense pinpoints casing and screen flaws. TV surveys are helpful during attempts to fish out pipe, pumps and other objects from wells. It is recommended that a TV survey be conducted inside new wells prior to final acceptance to ensure that construction materials have not been left in the well. A TV survey also helps to ensure that the well meets specification requirements. Video tapes of a new well survey provide a benchmark for later comparisons.
